Change.
Change is not driven by governments but its rather driven by citizens who lead governments to change. When i told my mom and dad that i would like to dedicate my birthday to the ocean in spirit of June being ocean month it seemed insane but I did not take a no and i told myself that’s it is my chance to show the world that this is what the ocean warrior is capable of.

I spend hours begging and pleading for volunteers, organizations and sponsors to what was the ocean warrior birthday beach clean up. I as an inland kid knows that even if its not my dirt its my earth that i long to protect with that being said i told myself if this clean up is a one man show or a thirty man show its not about how many people notice me but it is about the impact that I choose to make because there is no ocean without every drop and even if I’m one drop i count toward change. Calls later, social media appearances and merely any way to share i was there as I found myself on the way to the beautiful coast lines of South Africa.
With not many expectations i made my way to La Lucia main beach on Sunday the 23rd of June 2019 ready to spread awareness and take responsibility for my actions before it is to late because we as South Africa citizens contribute widely to marine pollution but unfortunately we do not do enough to decrease our contribution.
So before its to late join me as I pledge to be apart of the solution and not pollution.
